South Africa scored on 289 for 6 in their 50 overs, and classified the Australians to 264 for 7. Roelof van der Merwe took threesome for 37 in 10 over in his support ODI for South Africa.
A.B. de Villiers and Jacques Kallis scored half-centuries and Morkel and Boucher hit out latterly in the innings Thursday to escort South Africa for 289 for 6 wickets in the Third ODI against Australia.
De Villiers scored 80 off 87 balls and further 114 with Kallis, who had 70 off 86 balls.
The 4th One day International match will be played at Port Elizabeth on Mon.
